Is there really a Wenger curse?

Is there really a Wenger curse?

Take a look at this list of managers who had a go at Wenger and got sacked -  Pulis, take note:

Allardyce - Fat Sam thinks he is as good as Wenger. Says that he loves to wind up Wenger. Sacked twice at Newcastle and Blackburn.

Brown - Orange man who tried to enjoy the spotlight in his second Premier League year. Made accusations about Fabregas who was cleared and had several pops at Wenger (a bit like Pulis). Promptly got sacked as Hull manager after Arsenal beat them 3-1. Still out of work.

Jol - Spurs manager who had a real go at Wenger after their side scored a goal while Gilberto was lying injured. Sacked as Spurs manager. Under heavy pressure at Ajax, he decided to leave before he got sacked again. Now out of work.

Martin O’Neil - Went into a sissy fit when he thought he read some quotes made by Wenger were about him (Wenger’s quotes were typically twisted by the media and shown to O’Neil at a conference).  Left his job as Aston Villa manager and missed out on the Liverpool job. Still out of a job at the moment.

Mourinho - Made classless attacks on Wenger including calling him a “voyeur”. Got sacked the same season by Abrahamovic.

Pardew - Sang “England England” in the ears of Wenger when West Ham beat Arsenal in the last minute. Also said that Arsenal’s run to the Champions League Final in 2006 was not a “victory for English football”.Sacked at West Ham, Charlton and Southampton. Would have been out of the job but for Mike Ashley’s bizarre decision to appoint him as Newcastle manager.

Even Mourinho did not escape the chop so Mr Pulis unless you are trying to be as good as Ferguson, I would think twice before having a go at our respected manager.
