As the English media rules Arsenal out against Barcelona before a ball is even kicked, you would think that Arsenal is the only team in the world that struggles against Barcelona.
As far as I can remember, I watched Barcelona outclassed Manchester United in the 2009 Champions League final. A result that Mr Hansen never mentions as he is too busy reminding us how Arsenal got thrashed by Barcelona.
I remember Barcelona destroying Man U and 2-0 was not a fair reflection of the final. I also remember Barcelona eliminating Chelsea on their way to the final.
The English media loves to remind us how Arsenal is not a match for Barcelona - but they always conveniently forget to mention that Man U also got comprehensively beaten by the Spanish team which is without a doubt one of the best clubs in the world.
Barca also destroyed Mourinho’s Madrid 5-0 a couple of weeks back. My point is that any team would find it difficult to beat Barcelona, not just Arsenal.
I love it how most of the media think that Spurs will beat AC Milan but that Arsenal have no chance whatsoever against Barcelona. But while the game is a difficult one for Arsenal, it would also have been very difficult for Chelsea, Man U or Spurs.
