Disciplinary record only shows one thing
If a side like Arsenal concedes more free kicks and get more cards than Stoke , then it only tells you only one thing about the state of the Premier League.
May be it will difficult to understand for someone with a Pulis-sized brain but the fact that a smooth and passing side like Arsenal is more sanctioned than the leg-breaking long ball merchants of Stoke means that we are actually being victimised by inept referring.
The media likes to brandish the lie that Arsenal are the dirtiest side of the Premier League but they do not know that they are doing a great disservice to a league that is still watched by millions around the globe.
What does it tell you about the standard of the Premier League if Arsenal gets more cards than Stoke? How on earth can a side ridiculed by the media for being “too small” still manage to get more penalised than the Neanderthal-like Stokes of this league?
The answer is clear really - Arsenal get disciplined for soft fouls and we get more cards than everyone else for nothing fouls. While the likes of Stoke, Wolves and Blackburn carry on fouling and breaking legs, we still manage to be the victims of a media witch-hunt which undoubtedly influence referees.
For instance, was I dreaming or did Fletcher push the referee at Old Trafford on Monday? Did he get a red card ? No. Did he get a yellow card? No. Was there a trial by television from Sky ? You must be joking , they only do that for Arsenal players. How about the FA Disciplinary Committee? Not a word either.
This is exactly what I mean. Had it been Song, we would have been in the middle of a six-match ban with some sections of the media calling for him to be kicked out of the game.
