Spurs Player Ratings
Fabianski 5 Could not really be blamed for their goals but could perhaps have come out for the third goal.

Sagna 6.5 Strong display in the first half but was guilty of ball watching for the first Spurs goal which turn the game around.

Squillaci 5 Disappointing again. He often gets exposed for pace and struggled badly in the second half.

Koscielny 5.5 Looked assured in the first half but was vulnerable in the second half. Should have definitely scored that header in the second half.

Clichy 4.5 Another mistake at another big game which costs us the game. He should have done a lot better for that Gareth Bale goal , which allowed them a way back in the game. Clichy has been under-par for a couple of years now. Wenger has to decide whether Gibbs will make it or buy another left back in January - Clichy has made far too many mistakes for me.

Song 7 Was terrific in the first half where he kept on breaking their attacks with conviction. Was also strong in the second half but was not helped by a shaky back-four.

Denilson 6 Perform well in the first half. His inclusion was the right choice after Wilshere's recent antics but faded at the end of the second half.

Fabregas 8 Outstanding in leading the play and never gave up. Could easily have scored but for Gomes' great save.

Nasri 7.5 Scored a great goal from the tightest of angles. Kept Spurs on their toes in the first half. I think he got injured in the second half which explains why he was substituted.

Arshavin 6 The usual from him this season. Shows flashes of brilliance and then fades in the second half. Excellent cross for Chamakh's goal shows his class but I think we have not seen a great Arshavin performance for a full game for a while now.

Chamakh 6 An excellently-taken goal and a battling display up front. He was however frustrating as he should have killed the game twice.  Wenger replaced him in a moment of exasperation but I think he would have caused more problems than Van Persie had he been kept on.

Rosicky 5 I cannot remember Rosicky ever making a serious impact from the bench and I knew yesterday would be no different. He did participate in the play but he is hardly going to set the world on fire when you really need him.

Walcott 4 Very disappointing. I am getting extremely frustrated by Walcott's inability to make the most of good opportunities. He should really have scored late on and shot at goal when he should have crossed.

Van Persie 3 Wenger's fault for bringing him on as he is obviously not match fit. It seems Wenger brings him on when we are desperate like against Newcastle but did not give him the match time he needs at Wolves or Everton. I saw him only made a couple of touches and subbing the busy Chamakh (even for his glaring misses) for an unfit Van Persie was a bad move from the manager.
