Telegraph continues to demand Arsene's exit
The Telegraph has run another of their traditional hostile-Arsenal comment today.

Their journalist Matthew Norman claims that Arsene has to “realise it is time to go”.

I mean who the hell are they to decide what Arsenal should do.

Most Arsenal fans back Arsene and that it is not just because of we are living in the past as the Telegraph claims.

We back him because we know that despite the trophy-less seasons, we are still always in the Top 4 which means qualification in the Champions League every year. Any new manager will need to better that for us to even consider a change.

The “no-trophy” brigade seems to forget that it is not that easy to win the Premier League or the Champions League.

Chelsea has not won the Champions League despite spending hundreds of millions over the past few years and Liverpool has not won the league for over 20 years. Since 13 years, only three teams have won the league and we are one of them.

We do not have a right to win trophies every year. But I think what trouble stirrers like the Telegraph fail to realise is that Arsene is doing quite well, even if you look at his record only from 2005.

He is firmly keeping the club in the Top 4 despite having to spend carefully during the move to a world-class stadium.

Since 2005, there have been two good title challenges in 2008 and 2010, a Champions league final in 2006, a Carling Cup final in 2007 and a number of quarter-finals in the Champions League.

All this by playing a brand of breathtaking football. It is not difficult to understand why Arsenal fans are so loyal to Wenger.

But then again the Telegraph cannot be counted on for their objectivity, especially after they called Arsenal the “dirtiest team in the league” a few weeks ago.
