Bendtner has not been impatient

Bendtner's threat to leave Arsenal is not really surprising.

He was definitely wrong to publicly air his frustrations like that but I do think that he has a point.

His stats for the club have been impressive.  Whether you like him or not , 38 goals in 67 starts is an excellent return for a young striker.

He was also instrumental for Birmingham in their promotion in 2006, with 13 goals in 39 games.

I have always felt that Bendtner is extremely talented but that his style of play does not particularly suit an excellent passing team like Arsenal.

It will be a shame to lose Bendtner as I think he has been a very good impact player for us.

He may turn out to be one of those players who would perhaps suit Mourinho's direct approach - and Inter was after him when Mourinho was still there.

He has been with us for six seasons and I understand if he feels he need more football at this stage of his career.
