Why Wenger should not appeal UEFA ban

Why Wenger should not appeal UEFA ban
The club says that they are considering whether to appeal against bans handed out to Arsene Wenger and Samir Nasri after our defeat against Barcelona.

I actually think it is time to move on and concentrate on trying to wrestle the title away from Manchester United.

I am Arsene´s biggest fan but even I think that he should not be calling UEFA “dictators”. You do not want to fight against the authorities and Peter Hill-Wood has realised that very quickly.

It is only a one-match suspension anyway.  It will be the first game of the group stage or against some Eastern European opposition (should we not finish for some reason in the Top 3 this season, thanks Liam).

We can cope without Samir Nasri for one game – this is a club which is very used to deal with absences and injuries after all.

Whatever was said, how bad the referring was that day and whether the club felt we were badly treated after the game is not our battle right now.

Our battle is to prevent this United side from getting a record 19th title. It will be a real shame to let this United side win the league. Their squad is old and average but they are walking their way to the title as City, Chelsea and ourselves seem to take turns in getting the wrong results.

It is our own fault as we are not focussing hard enough and we should not be letting other things distract us.

Look at Ferguson. He got hit with a five-match ban from the FA but he did not care one bit.

He has only one objective. It does not matter if he is regularly starting with 37 year old pair Scholes and Giggs in midfield or putting seven defenders against us. His only priority is to win the league.

So should Wenger´s.
