Fabianski 6.5 Not the busiest afternoon for the Arsenal keeper. However, he was very assured on crosses and was extremely commanding in the box. On one corner in the first half, he even told Fabregas where to stand and the ball was dropped exactly where Fabregas stood for him to clear ! A measure of the man's confidence at the moment.

Sagna 6.5 Bombed forward frequently and delivered a number of good crosses, and participated well in our attacking play on the right.

Koscielny 6.5 I think his positioning and reading of the game is excellent and he is a very intelligent defender. Is growing in stature by the game and I am really looking forward to him and Vermalen partnering in the central defence.

Squillaci 6.5 An improved performance from the experienced Frenchman , who has not looked too comfortable at times this season. Dealt and made a number of good clearances.

Clichy 6.5 Was relatively quiet in the first half but came to life in the second half. Of course , he delivered an absolute peach of a cross for Song's goal.

Nasri 6.5 A quiet first half by his standards but that was more due to West Ham's defending than anything else. Really improved in the second half and his free kick against the woodwork stood out , along with creating lots of opportunities for the forwards.

Denilson 5 A very unsatisfactory display by the Brazillian. I lost count of the number of passes he made that went astray and got beaten too many times in midfield for my liking. Not a coincidence that he was replaced and that we were more dangerous after he departed.

Fabregas 7.5 As I said previously , I think West Ham worked very well in the first half to block his attacking threat. But once he got going in the second half , he was at the centre of everything good for us. An excellent pass for Walcott's chance also stood out.

Song 8 What more can be said of this man? He is really turning out to be one of the finds of Wenger's tenure at the club. I have to admit that I was one of those who criticised him but once again Arsene proved he knows. He was superb in the first half , winning a lot of balls and has also added this attacking dimension to his play this season. Scored the winner with a brave diving header.

Arshavin 6 Faded despite a bright start. His body language seems to suggest he is not all too happy, although he fashioned a great chance for himself in the second half.

Chamakh 5 His most frustrating afternoon for us yet. Has looked a bit jaded lately and I can understand it as he has been playing in every single game since the beginning of the season I think  ( bar the mid-week game). He was marked out of the game and laboured up front whenever he had the ball.
