Two of the great Hockey nations will be taking on each other in the Final for the Gold in the 2010 Commonwealth games. Indians are coming into this final on the back of two huge results against two arch rivals when it comes to history. First they defeated Near neighbours pakistan by 7-4 in the quarter Final match after a super match. it was not as easy as it seemed on paper but still Indian came good in front of their home ground and made them over joyed.

Next it was England who were playing some real good hockey in these games, and in the Semi Final match against India they again played a great game taking india to the Penalty strokes but the the pressure of the home side and the support they gave to the home side was too much in the end and India won on Penalty strokes and reached the final where they will face Australia.
