Vela's goal was very important but Henri Lansbury continues to be the pick of our loanees by scoring again for Norwich.
I am delighted for Carlos Vela as the change in management at WBA could have played against him. Di Matteo really rated him and beat Bolton to his signing, but he has not started the last three games for them.
Coming off the bench and scoring a crucial equaliser in injury-time will do him the world of good. The West Midlands derby is a really tense affair usually and he will need that kind of experience if he wants to make it in the Premiership.
One man who I would love to see in the Premiership is Henri Lansbury. The 20 year old is taking the Championship by storm and he has now scored three in his last four games.
Seeing that Denilson has not really made his mark in our first team, I think Lansbury could claim his spot next season. You know that my opinion is of course to recall Lansbury now but Norwich is guaranteeing him games and they will not be pleased if we do a Ferguson (i.e. recalling loan players abruptly and punishing small sides like Preston)
