Good debut for Wilshere as Walcott assists

Jack Wilshere had all eyes on him and he gave a very accomplished display.

What I like about him is that he likes to keep things simple.

In that sense, he dealt with the hype much better than a young Theo Walcott did. The pressure was unbearable for Walcott but Wilshere has looked very confident since the beginning.

Walcott has been growing steadily since 2006 though and the goal he scored at Newcastle was evidence of his new-found composure.

Yesterday, he beautifully created the first goal. A battling run and a perfect pass made an easy tap-in for Bent.

Bendtner found it difficult to impose himself but kept the England defenders busy with his movement in the box.

Elsewhere, Sagna and Diaby were involved for France. I do not understand why Sagna played the full game but I guess beating Brazil is very prestigious at any level.
