Durham should stop whingeing about Wenger
I see that the preacher of hate had another go at Arsene Wenger this week.

The last time I listened to that particular down-market radio was in 2004 when Arsene, Henry and Pires were all being slaughtered. Yes 2004 ! The year when we run away with the title undefeated. I already knew back then that they were idiots.

I know that we should not care about them but they can influence opinion at times. For instance, some TV pundits rehash some of that radio's themes- like when clown Adrian Chiles mocked Wenger on ITV for "daring to ask protection against bad tackles".

Durham seems to be offended when Wenger talks. It is as if the Arsenal manager does not have a right to an opinion anymore. Every of his comment is distorted into a "moan". I am sorry but I hear managers "whinge" every week and I want to know why only Arsene is given a bad name?

Here is a summary of post-match comments by some managers over the past week only:

Ferguson (after defeat at Wolves): "The pitch was not very good" .

Steve Bruce (after defeat at Sunderland):"It is difficult to lose any game, especially like this. We expected the officials to do their jobs and they did not."

Coyle (after defeat at Spurs): "Some major decisions certainly went against us all day. We have decisions made like that every week to managers in the Premier League like myself. I could show you a dvd of all decisions that go against us".

Pulis (despite winning): "When we played at Sunderland, Cattermole flicked it up with one hand, caught it with the other, threw it behind for a corner and we never got a penalty and he never got sent off".

Moyes (last week , when asked about his offside goal): "The worst part of it was Fabregas. He was disgusting."

Yet none of these managers are said to have moaned.

Why such double-standards against Wenger, Durham?
