The West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has given an honest and fair assessment of our last few weeks ahead of our clash tomorrow. It is always good to see an opponent being respectful of us as opposed to the usual gloating and insults from tabloid heroes such as Pulis or Allardyce.
He praised the way we play football and he thought we threatened United a lot and United had to defend very well to win the game- something which I completely agree with.
The ex-Liverpool manager said : "As far as I´m concerned, Arsenal are just a good team with very good players.
They play good football and you saw it in the first game against Barcelona. They more than matched them in the second half of that game.
They played quite well against United and it was by no means one-way traffic towards the Arsenal goal.
Quite the opposite, they asked a lot of questions of the United defence.
I was not looking at a team lacking in confidence or anything really.
So when you meet Arsenal , you know you are playing a very good team."
