The Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has heaped praise on Arsene Wenger and is of the opinion that it just a matter of time before Arsenal starts winning trophies again.
After all the rubbish we had to endure from the likes of Pulis and Allardyce ( and those who have not even won a trophy in their career), it is refreshing to see an opposing manager talk in glowing terms of Wenger.
Bruce feels that more will come once Arsenal win a trophy and that we are very close to start a new golden era at the club.
Bruce said: "Arsene is a genius. He's built a fantastic team and, for me, it's only a matter of time. It seems unbelievable now but when I first went to Man United we were chasing the first title in 25, 26 years. It's the same for this young Arsenal team."
He adds: "I've seen them beat Barcelona and they're an average of 23 years old. They are in a fantastic position, having already been in one final, in the quarter finals of the FA Cup, second in the league, with a huge game against Barcelona coming. "

Some would like you to believe that Wenger will never win a trophy at Arsenal again but it is good to remind ourselves that he is doing a fantastic job at the club and the ingredients for success are there. Whatever happens this season, Wenger has improved the club from last season and let us remember that youngsters like Wilshere, Walcott, Djourou and Ramsey will be even better next season.
