Gianfranco Zola, manager of West Ham has been sacked. I am a fan of Zola, I saw immediate improvements in the way West Ham played at first, and it was very unfortunate that a reasonably talented group of individuals in the West Ham team just didn't gel.Zola was adamant that he wasn't a quitter, and he proved that. Extremely controversial owners making irritating remarks every week would test the strongest patience and for Zola to carry on through that and a relegation battle is huge credit to him.
Good luck to him in the future, I'm sure he will bounce back soon as a better manager. As for West Ham, they need stability and a very patient new manager to cope with the clubs expectations and owners.
